Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

New Murabba, a Public Investment Fund Company, has signed a strategic agreement with Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Company (EVIQ) to support the installation, operation, and maintenance of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions across key New Murabba assets. The collaboration further solidifies New Murabba’s commitment to sustainable development, integrating smart mobility, future-ready urban infrastructure, and alignment with the Kingdom's national green initiatives under Vision 2030. According to a press release issued by New Murabba today, both parties will deploy high-quality AC (alternating current) chargers at the New Murabba Headquarters and DC (direct current) fast chargers at other locations within the development. AC chargers are typically suited for longer-duration parking, such as workplace environments, enabling efficient and convenient daily charging. DC fast chargers, on the other hand, deliver significantly higher power levels and enable rapid charging, making them ideal for high-traffic locations and operational readiness. Together, these solutions will establish a reliable and accessible charging ecosystem for employees, visitors, and future residents. The partnership also establishes a framework for ongoing cooperation on advanced mobility solutions, ensuring alignment with New Murabba's long-term delivery requirements and broader destination sustainability goals. “Embedding future-ready mobility solutions is essential to New Murabba’s mission as we move from planning into delivery,” said Chief Executive of New Murabba Michael Dyke. “Our partnership with EVIQ enables us to accelerate sustainable transport infrastructure and contribute to the Kingdom’s broader sustainability and innovation ambitions.” “This partnership reflects our shared commitment to building future-ready infrastructure that supports the Kingdom’s sustainability goals,” said Cheif Executive at EVIQ Mohammad Bakr Gazzaz. “By integrating EV charging solutions into New Murabba’s development from the outset, we are enabling smarter mobility experiences while contributing to Saudi Arabia’s long-term vision for electrification, innovation, and sustainable urban growth.” Through this collaboration, New Murabba advances its strategic direction as it continues to deliver a globally competitive, future-ready downtown that prioritizes sustainability, innovation, and integrated infrastructure. It also opens new pathways for future collaborations that support national green objectives and enhance mobility experiences across the destination.
