In support of the transportation sector transformation objectives and the advancement of sustainable mobility in Saudi Arabia, Darb Fuel Company Ltd. has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Company (EVIQ). The agreement aims to develop and expand electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions across selected locations within Darb’s fuel station network. Darb Fuel Company Ltd. is one of the leading companies in the development and operation of fuel stations in Saudi Arabia, with a network exceeding 200 stations that are either operational or under development. EVIQ is a national joint venture between the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), specializing in the development and operation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure across Saudi Arabia. The agreement was signed in the presence of senior leadership from both companies, underscoring the strategic importance of this partnership and its role in supporting sustainability initiatives and the advancement of modern mobility solutions. Commenting on the agreement, the Chief Executive Officer of Darb Fuel Company stated: “This partnership with EVIQ reflects Darb’s commitment to building an integrated service ecosystem that places the customer at the heart of the experience, while supporting our sustainability agenda through the development of advanced electric vehicle charging infrastructure. This strategic partnership is expected to accelerate the development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, in alignment with national transportation transformation programs and in support of Saudi Vision 2030.
